I think I saw a bright light shining in the sky tonight
It shone above so brightly seemed like day when it was night
I think I heard a love song floating through the air tonight
It sounded like an angel - "Glory to our God on high!"
Could it be, could it be... something special here tonight?
Could it be, could it be... The Son of God on high?
I think I saw some shepherds heading into town tonight
I wonder where they're going, leaving all their flocks behind?
I think I heard a baby crying in the dark tonight
It was coming from a stable - could I be hearing right?
I know this is the Savior shown to us by that light
I followed all the shepherds to the baby born this night
They said, "His name is Jesus", found in a barn tonight
Sent to the world the save us, Glory to the Lord on high!
