Herbert Wright, better known by his stage name G Herbo (formerly known as Lil Herb) is an American rapper and songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. In September 2015, Herb signed a deal with Cinematic Music Group & Sony Music.

Wright grew up in Terror Town, a neighborhood within East Side, Chicago known for its high levels of violence and gang activity.He is close friends with fellow rapper Lil Bibby, with whom he has collaborated on numerous songs.

Lil Herb and Lil Bibby first gained attention with the song "Kill Shit," which has since been viewed over 15 million times on YouTube. Lil Herb and Lil Bibby gained broader attention within the hip-hop community when Canadian rapper Drake called them "the future."
