Enter Shikari are a four-piece rock band formed in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England in 2003.
Their distinctive electronicore style fuses post-hardcore,
alternative metal and metalcore with elements of various electronic music genres,
including trance, drum and bass, dubstep, industrial and electronica.

The band is named after a boat belonging to Rou Reynolds' uncle, and a character
in a play which he wrote before forming the band, both of which are named "Shikari".
