Someone's spikin' the gene pool, this is clearly not natural. Or maybe evolution's sick idea of a practical joke? I've heard of bad taste, but doesn't this seem bit drastic?
An epidemic of apathy makes for one lucrative demographic.

Why opt for improvement when general complaing ivolves less work? The very idea of self-reliance seems much absurd.
Place the blame; whatever makes you feel less contrite. An entire populace too busy bitching, whining and carrying about; For a little self-gain won't think twice about selling each other out!
Conceit, violence and gambling: Such shallow mentalities for an adept breed... We're pissing in the well from which we drink.
