Green Day Info:

Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1987. Green Day was originally part of the punk scene at the DIY 924 Gilman Street club in Berkeley, California.

Green Day was widely credited, alongside fellow California punk bands Sublime, Bad Religion, The Offspring and Rancid, with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States.

In 2010, a stage adaptation of American Idiot debuted on Broadway. The musical was nominated for several Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Scenic Design. They are one of the world's best-selling groups of all time, having sold over 75 million albums worldwide. -Wikipedia

"Tré: I told my dad "Yeah I'm going to be a drummer" and he said "well you can if you can rub your stomach at the same time as you pat your head at the same time you're standing on one leg and kicking the other one out in a circle and say the pledge of allegiance". And I did all that just like bam you know?"?

"Mike: We write music for oursleves. If anyone else likes it, that's great."?

"There's nothing wrong with being a loser, it just depends on how good you are at it." (as said by Billie Joe)"?

"Tré on their first tour bus: It's, like, an ok tour bus and all, but people see book mobile on the side and come up and ask us if we have any books to sell. I mean how stupid is that....books? We don't even read.""?

"Billie-Joe: We put the 'fun' back in dysfunctional."?

Billie-Joe: I sound like an Englishman impersonating and American impesronating an American."?
